Itinerary
Meeting and departure
- Departure: from downtown Nova Friburgo (meeting point set in your booking).
- Transport: 4x4 vehicles equipped for rural terrain.
Through the countryside
- Route: a drive through the countryside to Dona Mariana, enjoying the natural scenery and the region's rural way of life.
Leopoldina railway line and tunnels
- Trail: we follow the old Leopoldina railway line, a historic route that passes through the region's railway tunnels, once used to carry freight and passengers.
- Points of interest: stops to explore the tunnels, with short explanations of the railway's historical importance to the local economy.
Murineli and Ponte Seca
- Arrival in Murineli: after crossing the railway line and its tunnels, we reach the district of Murineli and head toward Ponte Seca.
- Guided exploration: a visit to Ponte Seca, an old railway bridge of historical importance to the region.
Fazenda Santa Cruz
- Visit: we continue to the traditional Fazenda Santa Cruz, a farm of great historical and cultural importance. Here you can explore the colonial architecture and learn about the farm's history and its role in the region's farming economy.
- Optional activities: a short tasting of local products may be available (subject to availability).
Conte D'Eu Waterfall
- Arrival at the waterfall: we finish at the beautiful Conte D'Eu Waterfall, one of the region's most charming natural attractions.

Return
- Transport: board the 4x4 vehicles back to the original meeting point in downtown Nova Friburgo.
- Arrival: drop-off and end of the tour, with time for feedback and goodbyes.
